This time I came to London with my mum, and we made sure to check out the newly opened Chinese restaurant “3 Gorges” in the city centre. It’s right near UCL, with such an elegant atmosphere that my mum was full of praise the moment we walked in! Starters: We ordered a dim sum trio—scallop dumpling, prawn dumpling, and chive dumpling. The plating was so beautiful it looked like a piece of art. My mum was too busy taking photos to even start eating. Soup: I went for the old duck soup while my mum chose chicken soup. Both came steaming hot, with a gorgeous golden colour and packed full of ingredients—you had to scoop to get everything out. Mains: The black pepper beef with abalone sauce rice was such a generous portion when it arrived—so impressive!
